Richard Lee Confident Innocent: I Don't Do Illegal Access
JAKARTA - The suspect in the alleged illegal access case, dr. Richard Lee believed himself to be innocent. Richard Lee considered that he had not committed any crime.
"If access is illegal, I'm optimistic that I feel innocent, I don't do illegal access, I'm optimistic," Richard told reporters, Wednesday, September 8.
"I feel I have not committed a criminal crime," he continued.
The case of alleged illegal access has almost entered the realm of trial. In the near future, Polda Metro Jaya investigators will carry out phase two of the case.
If the research prosecutor assesses that the investigation file is complete, Richard Lee will be put on trial immediately.
In addition, today Richard Lee was re-examined by investigators. The examination was related to his knowledge of criminal acts.
"Ah, a few (questions), not much to complete, only 5 to 10 (questions) regarding whether or not it violates the law. Yes, I don't know, Instagram was confiscated, not Facebook. I posted it on my Facebook, it wasn't confiscated," said Richard.
Dr Richard Lee was arrested at his residence in Palembang, South Sumatra, Wednesday 11 August. The arrest was because he intentionally deleted a post on his Instagram account.
In fact, the account @dr.richard_lee has been designated as evidence in the alleged defamation case.
In this case, Dr. Richard is charged with Article 30 in conjunction with 46 of the ITE Law and Article 231 of the Criminal Code and or Article 221 of the Criminal Code regarding the loss of evidence.
