JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) through its website www.bmkg.go.id stated that a number of areas in Indonesia have the potential to experience light rain.
Reported by Antara, Wednesday, September 8, based on information from the BMKG weather forecast, it was stated that light rain would occur during the day in the DI Yogyakarta, Pontianak, Samarinda, Pangkal Pinang, Bandar Lampung, Ternate, Kupang, Mamuju, Manado and Padang areas.
Meanwhile, at night, areas that experience light rain are DKI Jakarta, Gorontalo, Semarang, Palangkaraya, Tarakan, Ternate, Manokwari, Pekanbaru, Kendari and Medan.
The potential for moderate rain during the day will occur in Bengkulu, Tanjung Pinang, Ambon, and Kendari.

Furthermore, areas that have the potential to experience cloudy weather are Denpasar, DKI Jakarta Banjarmasin, Palangkaraya, Mataram, Manokwari, Pekanbaru and Medan. While Semarang will be approached by thick cloudy weather in the afternoon.
Sunny cloudy weather is also forecasted in several areas, including Banda Aceh, Gorontalo, Surabaya, Tarakan, Jayapura and Palembang. Meanwhile, in Bandung and Makassar in the afternoon, the weather will be sunny.
The BMKG stated that the temperature range in big cities is between 17 and 34 degrees Celsius with humidity levels ranging from 50 to 100 percent.
