Earning Rp207 Billion Profit In Semester I 2021, Conglomerate-Owned Company TP Rachmat Believes Its Performance To Grow At The End Of The Year

JAKARTA - The plantation company, PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG) is confident that it will be able to record financial performance growth until the end of 2021. The optimism of the company owned by the conglomerate TP Rachmat is supported by its positive financial performance in the first semester of 2021.

"If we look at our profit increase in the first quarter of 2021, it was quite high. We are optimistic that our profit will grow even higher than in 2020," said DSNG Finance Director Jenti Widjaja in the company's public expose, Tuesday, September 7.

Based on the company's financial statements, DSNG recorded a profit attributable to owners of the parent entity or a net profit of Rp. 207.5 billion in the first semester of 2021. This achievement grew by 14.18 percent compared to net profit in the first semester of 2020 which was Rp. 181.73 billion.

The increase in profit was supported by sales growth of 4.44 percent to Rp3.29 trillion in the first semester of 2021 compared to the acquisition of the same period the previous year of Rp3.15 trillion.

Revenue from the CPO sector was still the highest contributor with Rp2.7 trillion, an increase compared to the same period the previous year of Rp2.65 trillion. Furthermore, revenue from the wood product segment also recorded an increase to Rp588.8 billion from the acquisition in the first semester of 2020 of Rp493.36 billion.

DSNG President Director Andrianto Oetomo said the increase in CPO prices was still the driving force for the Company's financial performance in the first half of this year. The average selling price of DSNG CPO during the first 6 months of this year reached Rp. 8.4 million per ton, an increase of 8 percent compared to the same period last year.
