The Aceh Provincial Government Affirms Cooperativeness In The Investigation Of The Rp15 Billion OKP Grant Case Investigated By The Police

ACEH - The Aceh government has ensured that officials will cooperate with investigations regarding cases of alleged misuse of grant funds for 150 youth community organizations (OKP) amounting to Rp15 billion in 2020 which are being investigated by the Aceh Regional Police.

"The Aceh government is certainly very responsive and cooperative to the investigation carried out by the police regarding this grant," said Aceh Government Spokesperson Muhammad MTA, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, September 7.

Muhammad MTA emphasized that if additional information was needed in this examination regarding the ongoing investigation, a number of these officials would return.

"Several related officials have been asked for information about the social assistance, if it is still needed for investigation they will come back," he said.

Muhammad MTA said that this step is a form of seriousness of law enforcement officers (APH) in overseeing regional financial management.

"So we remind all parties to be very careful in carrying out this people's mandate," said Muhammad MTA.

Currently, the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Aceh Police is investigating the use of the 2020 refocusing funds, especially regarding the flow of grant funds to 150 OKPs with a budget value of Rp. 15 billion.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Kombes Winardy, said that the Sub-Directorate for Tipidkor of the Ditreskrimsus of the Aceh Police had requested information from five related people, ranging from staff, PPK, Head of the Head of the Aceh Financial Management Agency (BPMA).

Winardy stated that currently investigators are still collecting the necessary evidence and documents related to the provision of COVID-19 grant funds to the 150 OKP, so that the legal construction is strong.

"In order to determine whether there is a corruption crime or not later through a case title mechanism, the status of the case will increase," said Kombes Winardy.
