Pfizer Type COVID Vaccine Injects, Cipayung Health Center Waits For DKI Health Office Directions
JAKARTA - The Cipayung District Health Center, East Jakarta, is waiting for directions from the DKI Jakarta Health Office to provide the public with the Pfizer type of COVID-19 vaccine.
"We are ready to serve the community, but at this time we are still waiting for directions from the DKI Health Office to inject the Pfizer type," said Head of the Cipayung District Health Center Rini Muharni in Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, September 7.
Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government expanded access to vaccinations with Pfizer and Moderna vaccines for the general public at public health centers, hospitals, to certain vaccination centers in five areas of Jakarta.
The Moderna vaccine is for the general population aged 18 years and over, while the Pfizer vaccine is for the general public aged 12 years and over.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, Widyastuti, said that the general public, residents of DKI Jakarta, currently no longer need a certificate of approval for the Moderna and Pfizer vaccinations.
"The approval letter for giving the two vaccines is only needed specifically for those who have conditions related to immunity, such as severe comorbidities, autoimmune, and patients on immunosuppressant therapy, need a doctor's recommendation letter," he said in Jakarta, Monday, September 6.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has now opened access to Moderna and Pfizer vaccine injection locations in 59 health care facilities, whereas previously there were only 16 health care facilities.
In East Jakarta, the location of Pfizer vaccination is at the Air Force Hospital dr. Esnawan Antariksa, Tk IV Kesdam Cijantung Hospital, Duren Sawit Hospital, Cakung District Health Center, Cipayung District Health Center, and Ciracas District Health Center.
Then, at the Duren Sawit District Health Center, Jatinegara District Health Center, Matraman District Health Center, Pulogadung District Health Center, Makassar District Health Center, Pasar Rebo District Health Center, Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital, Ridwan Meuraksa Hospital, and Premier Jatinegara Hospital.
