After Completing His Military Service, Doo Joon Highlight Is Ready To Release His Solo Album

JAKARTA - Highlight group member, Yoon Doo Joon or familiarly called Doojoon just returned from military service last April. Three months later, he revealed his latest project, which is to become a soloist.

This news was delivered by his agency, Around Us Entertainment on Monday, July 6. The group's leader will release his first solo album on July 27th.

It was announced in a short time, it turned out that the Radio Romance player had prepared a recording and photo shoot for his first album. Doojoon also had time to tell fans the process of making and album concept to fans last week.

"This album may not be able to give warm words to people but I want this album to be a medium to say that the worries and thoughts you have right now are not the only ones you have," Doojoon said on the live streaming broadcast.

Doojoon will display his charisma as a solo singer after being anticipated by fans during his career. Yoon Doo Joon is better known as a television star and actor because of his always different roles.

After debuting with Beast in 2009, he and his group changed their group name to Highlight and then moved to a new agency. He has undertaken a series of television screen projects, including his last two dramas Radio Romance and Let's Eat 3.

He became the first Highlight member to enlist in the military on August 24, 2018 and ended on April 10, 2020. After his enlistment, Doojoon became a regular member of the television show 4 Wheeled Restaurant Korea on tvN.

Now, Yoon Doo Joon will show his ability to become a singer through his solo album. This album can be looked forward to by fans on 27 July.
