The Third Person Who Made Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie's Marriage Aground

JAKARTA - The couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt separated in 2016. So far, they have both closed the reasons for the divorce. In an interview with The Guardian, related to her new book, "Know Your Rights", Jolie finally opened up about the cause of their separation.

Apparently, the presence of Harvey Weinstein in their lives brought discomfort to Jolie. Not as a loving partner, Wienstein who had sexually harassed Jolie, returned to work with Brad Pitt. Jolie was angry and disappointed to know this.

"We fought about (because of Weinstein). Of course it hurts," Jolie said.

Harvey Weinstein is a top producer caught in a sexual assault scandal in Hollywood. In 2017, Jolie admitted that Weinsten sexually abused her when she was younger. As a reminder, Jolie once played Playing by Heart under producer Harvey Weinstein, when she was 21 years old.

Jolie's trauma seems to have been put aside by Brad Pitt when he collaborated with the sexual predator as a producer for the noir thriller, Killing Them Softly. The film was also later distributed by Weinstein's company.

In 2017, Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexually assaulting and raping several women. This case has happened repeatedly since the '90s.

Now, Weinstein is serving 23 years in prison and fired from the production company he founded. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have also been separated since 2016 after getting married in 2014.
