VIDEO: Dozens Of UNHCR Refugee Tents Dismantled Even Though Requests Haven't Been Fulfilled

JAKARTA - Dozens of Satpol PP officers and police officers carried out the forced demolition of dozens of tents belonging to asylum seekers next to the UNHCR building, Jl. Kebon Sirih Barat 1, Menteng, Central Jakarta on Monday, September 9.

Even so, some of the asylum seekers had defended the tents so they would not be taken by the officers. Until now the refugees are still holding out because UNHCR has not complied with its demands.
