Apologize To The Commander In Chief The Death Of 4 TNI Soldiers In Maybrat, Regent: The Saddest Case For Hundreds Of Years
WEST PAPUA - The Regent of Maybrat West Papua, Bernard Sagrim, stated that the attack on the Ramil Kisor Post that killed four members of the Indonesian Army was the saddest case in the history of the district.
"Events like this have only happened in the hundreds of years in our lives, the people of Maybrat Ayamaru Raya, Aitinyo Raya and Aifat Raya," said Bernard Sagrim in Maybrat as reported by Antara, Monday, September 6.
He said that this was the first time the attack and massacre of members of the TNI AD had occurred in Maybrat. Local clashes are common but not as sad as the case of the Posramil Kisor attacker.
"Anyone who is religious or not religious, this is a heinous act that must be legally accounted for. We leave it to the Kapolda to investigate to find out who and from which group did the act," said Bernard firmly.
He said that on behalf of the regional leadership and as parents in Maybrat Regency, along with all stakeholders and all members of the community, they expressed their condolences and condolences for the death of four TNI soldiers in Maybrat Regency.
"On behalf of the community members, the Maybrat Regency government, I apologize to TNI officials, the TNI Commander, Kasad, Pangdam and their staff for the actions committed by unscrupulous members of the Maybrat community," he said again.
The Regent hoped that this incident would be the first and the last in the Maybrat area and in general in the jurisdiction of West Papua Province.
He reminded the community that the presence of the army and police was not to scare but to ensure the presence of the government to protect the local community.
