Female Murderer In Cilandak Surrendered When Arrested, Police: We Tracked From Motorcycle Number

JAKARTA - Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilandak Police, Iptu Budi, said that the process of arresting the perpetrator of the murder with the initials AA (41) carried out by his staff through tracking the number plate of the perpetrator's vehicle.

In addition to tracking number plates, the police also brought other evidence to arrest the perpetrators of AA in the Bojong Gede area, Bogor.

"We traced it from the license plate of the motorbike (the perpetrator) that was parked outside (the hotel)," said Iptu Budi when contacted by reporters, Sunday, September 5, afternoon.

He explained that the tracking of the perpetrator's vehicle number plate was based on evidence from CCTV camera footage around the scene. Before tracking down the number plate, the police first collected a number of CCTV footage.

"After checking the address of the motorbike plate, it was found that it was in the Bojong Gede area. We are pursuing and making arrests according to the available evidence," he said.

When the raid was carried out, perpetrator AA (41) could only resign himself to seeing the arrival of a number of members of the joint criminal investigation. The perpetrator did not move so that the police managed to apprehend him.

"There was no resistance during the arrest. The perpetrator was immediately taken to the South Jakarta Police for further processing," he said.
