Police Arrest 1 Perpetrator Of Woman Murder In Bojong Gede Area, Victim's Cellphone Is Also Confiscated
JAKARTA - South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Azis Andriansyah said his party managed to arrest one person suspected of murdering a woman at a hotel in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta. The perpetrator was arrested in the Bojong Gede area, Bogor, West Java.
"The perpetrator had the initials AA (41). When he was arrested there was no (resistance)," said Azis Police Chief to reporters, Sunday, September 5.
Until now, the perpetrators are still undergoing examination at the South Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters. Police are still investigating the murder case.
"The victim's cellphone is in the hands of the person who made the arrest (the perpetrator)," he said.
As of Sunday afternoon, the investigator is still being interrogated by the team of investigators. "There is only one perpetrator. The victim's body is still in the autopsy process, yes, it is clear that he was found dead," he said.
As previously reported, a woman's body was found dead in a Cilandak hotel room, South Jakarta, Saturday, September 4. The victim is believed to have died as a result of being murdered.
From the initial findings, the identity of the victim was not found. The victim's body was then taken to the hospital for an autopsy.
Then, the South Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to uncover the case of the murder of a woman at a hotel in the South Cipete area, Cilandak District, South Jakarta on Sunday, September 5.
