5,144 COVID-19 Patients In Central Bangka Declared Cured, The Addition Of 28 Patients

CENTRAL BANGKA - The Head of the Olive Central Bangka Health Office in Koba said that 5,144 people from the total 6,023 COVID-19 patients in Bangka Tengah Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province who were declared cured had recovered.

Zaitun said today there were 52 patients who recovered. Meanwhile, local residents who were confirmed positive for the new corona virus. A total of 724 patients are still being treated (active cases) and 155 people have died.

However, said Zaitun, on the same day there were also 28 additional confirmed positive COVID-19 patients.

"We are very concentrated on handling cases of the new corona virus by continuing to vaccinate, socialize health protocols and prepare all adequate medical equipment," he said, quoting Antara, Saturday, September 4.

He also appealed to residents not to be complacent and to continue to be careful with the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Based on the case distribution data, he said, four sub-districts were declared vulnerable, namely Pangkalanbaru, Namang, Koba and Simpangkatis sub-districts with higher case finding rates.

The lowest spread of new coronavirus cases was recorded in Lubuk Besar District and Sungaiselan District.
