One More Year To Be Governor Of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan: We Will Complete The Control Of COVID-19
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said he would focus on completing the control of COVID-19. This was conveyed in response to his term of office which will end in 2022 or another year.
"Let's just finish this COVID-19 control. Because at this point (COVID-19, ed) is the most basic problem in Jakarta," Anies told reporters in Jakarta, Saturday, September 4.
If this virus problem can be handled properly, then all aspects of people's lives, especially the economy, can move again.
"Once the economy moves back, hopefully our welfare can recover soon," said Anies.
Meanwhile, when asked about his future political steps, the former Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) was reluctant to answer further. He asked all parties to focus first on the problem of handling the pandemic.
"Let's talk about vaccines first, okay? Thank you," he said.
Previously, the survey agency Indicator released a national survey with the results of Prabowo Subianto, Ganjar Pranowo, Anies Baswedan, Ridwan Kamil, Sandiaga Uno, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono and Khofifah Indar Parawansa, being the names with the highest electability to become RI 2024 Presidential Candidates.
In the results of a survey conducted by Indicator for the period of July 30 to August 4, 2021, Prabowo Subianto was the name with the highest electability in a simulation of 10 names.
as many as 27.8 percent of respondents chose Prabowo as a presidential candidate if the presidential election was held at this time.
In the second position is Ganjar Pranowo with an electability rate of 21.4 percent and the third position is Anies Baswedan with a vote of 14.8 percent of respondents. Ridwan Kamil is in fourth position with 6.9 percent of the vote.
