Banjarnegara Regent Suspect Of Corruption Has Wealth Of Rp. 23 Billion, Not Owned By Vehicle

JAKARTA - The Regent of Banjarnegara Budhi Sarwono (BS) who has just been named a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has a total wealth of Rp. 23,812,717,301.

Based on the announcement of the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) on the https://elhkpn.kpk.go.id page accessed by Antara on Saturday, Budhi last reported his assets on January 25, 2021 for the 2020 reporting year with the position of Regent of Banjarnegara, Central Java. .

As for the details, Budhi is recorded as having assets in the form of two parcels of land worth Rp. 1,292,495,014 located in Banjarnegara Regency.

Furthermore, he also has other movable assets worth Rp. 54,200,000, marketable securities of Rp. 10,826,607,919 and cash and cash equivalents of Rp. 11,639,414,368. Budhi is noted to have no debt so that his total wealth is Rp. 23,812,717,301.

However, in the report of his wealth, Budhi was noted to have no means of transportation and machinery.

Budhi's assets recorded an increase of around Rp. 4 billion. For the 2019 reporting year which he submitted on April 2, 2020, he has a net worth of Rp19,756,271,453.

Besides Budhi, the KPK on Friday, September 3 also named Kedy Afandi (KA) from the private sector as a suspect in alleged corruption related to the procurement of goods and services at the Banjarnegara Regency Government in 2017-2018.

In the construction of the case, the KPK stated that in September 2017, Budhi ordered Kedy, who is also a trusted person and had been the chairman of Budhi's success team, when he participated in the process of selecting the regional head of Banjarnegara Regency to lead a coordination meeting (rakor).

The coordination meeting was attended by representatives of the construction service association in Banjarnegara Regency which was located in one of the restaurants.

In the meeting, conveyed according to Budhi's orders and directions, Kedy said that the work project package would be relaxed by increasing the Self Estimated Price (HPS) by 20 percent of the project value and for companies that want to get the project package, they are required to provide a "fee" commitment. of 10 percent of the project value.

The follow-up meeting was again held at Budhi's private house which was attended by several representatives of the Banjarnegara Gapensi Association and Budhi directly said that among them was raising HPS by 20 percent of the current price. With the continued distribution of 10 percent for Budhi as a "fee" commitment and 10 percent as a partner's profit.

In addition, Budhi also played an active role by participating directly in the implementation of the infrastructure work auction, including distributing work packages at the PUPR Office of Banjarnegara Regency, involving his family-owned company, and arranging the auction winners.

Kedy is also always monitored and directed by Budhi when making arrangements for the distribution of work packages which will later be carried out by Budhi's company which is part of the Bumi Redjo group.

Budhi's acceptance of the 10 percent "fee" commitment was carried out directly or through the intercession of Kedy.

The KPK suspects that Budhi has received a "fee" commitment for various infrastructure project works in Banjarnegara Regency of around Rp. 2.1 billion.

For their actions, Budhi and Kedy are suspected of violating Article 12 letter i and/or Article 12 B of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
