Satpol PP Follows Dozens Of Visitors To Surabaya Depot 136 Prokes Violators, Owners Fined Rp. 5 Million
SURABAYA - Dozens of employees and visitors to Depot 136 on Jalan Kusuma Bangsa, Surabaya City, East Java, were prosecuted by local Satpol PP officers for violating the PPKM level 3 rules.
Head of Supervision and Acting Head of Operational Section of the Surabaya City Government Satpol PP, Saiful said, the visitors and employees did not carry out the health procedures and violated the PPKM rules, namely the prohibition of all public entertainment houses (RHU) from operating.
"That place often violates the prokes, that's why today we organize it," he said,
According to him, visitors and employees who violate are subject to sanctions in the form of a monetary fine of Rp. 150,000. Meanwhile, restaurant owners are subject to a fine of IDR 5 million.
Saiful explained that his party will bring in Surabaya Health Service (Dinkes) officers to conduct swab tests for those who violate the health procedures. If their swab test results are positive for COVID-19, then they will then be taken to the Hajj Dormitory to undergo self-isolation.
As for the depot, he continued, it was temporarily sealed and should not be opened. This is because the restaurant during the inspection report (BAP) cannot show a trading business license (SIUP).
When asked about the number of employees, in this case the song guides and visitors who were secured at the Surabaya Satpol PP office, Saiful did not know for sure. However, it is estimated that there were about tens of people.
"If there is a problem with the number, I don't know, I won't inform you later," he said.
Meanwhile, the owner of Resto 136 Andika, when confirmed by reporters, has not provided any information about any prokes violations committed by employees and visitors.
