Spontaneously Stabbed The Thief To Death At The Church In Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, This Man Was Arrested By The Police

MEDAN - Joshua Butarbutar (23) was arrested by the police. Joshua took justice into his own hands by stabbing a thief at the Percut Sei Tuan church, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra.

Percut Sei Police Chief, AKP Jan Piter Napitupulu said the incident occurred on Thursday, September 2 in the morning. At that time, Joshua caught two theft perpetrators cutting metal at a church on Jalan Sukarela Barat.

Seeing the 2 thieves in action, Joshua, who worked as a night watchman, immediately took action and chased the perpetrators. One perpetrator was arrested, while the other perpetrator escaped.

Joshua, who was annoyed, immediately stabbed his knife into the body of the thief known as Angga (21), a resident of Percut Sei Tuan District. As a result, the US lay down and covered in blood.

"He stabbed with a knife the victim (the thief) brought," said AKP Jan Piter.

Jan Piter explained that the victim was stabbed in the chest and shoulder. The police who received this information then went to the location to conduct an investigation. Meanwhile, the victim's body was taken to the Bhayangkara Hospital in Medan.

Because the perpetrator of the theft died, the police then examined the witnesses to finally find out the identity of the perpetrator of the murder.

"The perpetrator was arrested within 1x12 hours," explained the police chief.

Jan Piter said from the preliminary investigation, it was known that the motive for killing the victim was because he spontaneously caught the theft.

After being arrested, the perpetrator along with evidence in the form of a knife was brought by the police to the Percut Sei Tuan Police Station to undergo the legal process.

"The perpetrator has been arrested, his status is a suspect and we have detained him," said the police chief.
