A Debt Collector Who Points A Sickle To His Friend Turns Out To Be Still A Minor

JAKARTA - The man who brandished a sickle when collecting debts and then took the victim's motorbike away has been entered into the court process. As explained by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kembangan Police, AKP Ferdo Elfianto, it is true that such an incident occurred.

"Yes, that's right, the motorcycle theft with the motive of brandishing a sickle to collect debts is viral on social media." said AKP Ferdo Elfianto, to VOI, Friday, September 3.

Even according to Kanit, the suspect's file with the initials R (17) has been sent to the prosecutor's office.

AKP Ferdo explained that the motorcycle theft occurred around August 20 or 21.

"It's been almost 2 weeks. I'm a little surprised, how come this is only going viral now? We have sent our files too. The perpetrator is also detained," he said again.

Previously, a man went viral on the streets of Delima Lapangam Bola, Srengseng, Kembangan, West Jakarta. The perpetrator brandished a machete in a drunken state.

In addition to brandishing a gun, the perpetrator also took the victim's motorbike, who was also a friend of his. The motorbike was sold to the Central Jakarta area for Rp. 750 thousand.

The information went viral on social media. One of the Instagram accounts that shared the viral video of the riot was the Instagram account @jakartabarat24jam.
