Police Reveal The Circulation Of 28 Kg Of Shabu In Tanjungbalai, North Sumatra

MEDAN - The Asahan Police, North Sumatra revealed the circulation of 28 kilograms of methamphetamine. The crystal methamphetamine was secured from a resident's house in Gang Seri, Ward II, Tanjungbalai.

The Asahan Police Chief, AKBP Putu Yudha Prawira said, initially the team searched the house of the perpetrator with the initials NT (39).

"From the search, evidence was found of 27 packages of narcotics suspected of being methamphetamine wrapped in green plastic with the words Quanyingwang stored in burlap," said AKBP Putu, Friday, September 3.

During the search, the NT perpetrator fled. The next day, his party together with the North Sumatra Police's Narcotics Directorate arrested the perpetrators of NT.

"The NT perpetrator was driving a Black Avanza that was passing on Jalan Raya Kisaran - Air Joman. To be precise, in Karang Anyer Village, East Kisaran District, Asahan Regency," he explained.

Furthermore, the perpetrators and evidence were taken to the Asahan Police for the investigation process. Currently, said AKBP Putu, his party is pursuing 2 people suspected of being involved in drug trafficking.

"Until now, we have stated it in the People's Wanted List (DPO)," he said.

The perpetrator is suspected of Article 114 paragraph 2 Subsidiary 112 Paragraph 2 of the Narcotics Law Number 35 of 2009.

"With a maximum penalty of death or a minimum of 20 years in prison," he said.
