Beginning Of 2022, Seven Villages In Kudus Hold Simultaneous Pilkades

KUDUS - Seven villages in Kudus Regency, Central Java, will hold simultaneous village head elections (pilkades) in early 2022.

"Preparations for the simultaneous Pilkades have already begun, including the budget needs, which are still being calculated because the existing budget may not be as large as the budget for the simultaneous Pilkades in the previous period," said Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Kudus Regency, Adi Sadhono in Kudus, quoted by Antara, Friday, 3 September.

The source of funding, said Adi Sadhono, in addition to financial assistance from the APBD is also from the APBDes. However, so far the pilkades budget has only been sourced from local government financial assistance.

In its implementation, according to him, it must ask for permission from the Head of the Kudus COVID-19 Handling and Acceleration Task Force.

Previously, the voting was centered in a certain place, he had the idea that the place of the election was distributed in each neighborhood unit (RT) or community unit (RW) in order to avoid crowds.

He mentioned seven villages that will hold the Pilkades simultaneously, namely Hadiwarno Village, Mejobo, Kaliputu, Loram Kulon, Ternadi, Langgar Dalem, and Undaan Lor.

Meanwhile, the villages that will carry out the interim replacement (PAW) of village heads in October 2021, namely in the villages of Kauman, Jekulo, Jati Kulon, and Cendono.

He explained that those who have the right to vote are religious leaders, community leaders, education leaders, youth, and women in each RT with a total of 200 voters for each village.

The village government itself, according to him, has already drawn up its implementing regulations and proposed its implementation to the Kudus Regent. Once approved, the implementation will adjust the schedule.
