Today's Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Hospital: Beds Filled Less Than 1,000

JAKARTA - There was a reduction in the occupancy rate of beds for COVID-19 patients at the Kemayoran Athlete's Wisma Emergency Hospital today. Currently, the usability reaches 12.5 percent, so there are 87.5 percent of beds that are not occupied by patients.

Head of Information for Kogabwilhan I, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian said, as of today there are 28 people who have just left the Athlete House as COVID-19 isolation patients.

"There are 994 inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Hospital out of 7,894 bed capacities. Initially there were 1,022 people being treated and today there are 28 fewer," said Aris in his statement, Friday, September 3.

The details, there are 448 women and 546 men. They are undergoing isolation in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Emergency Hospital.

So, since the beginning of being used as a place of isolation on March 23, 2020 until now, the COVID-19 Hospital of Wisma Atlet Kemayoran has treated 126,998 corona virus patients.

"There were 126,004 patients discharged, with details 124,389 patients recovered, 1,021 were referred to other hospitals, and 594 people died," he said. Currently, all isolated patients being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Hospital are people without symptoms and people who have symptoms of COVID-19, both mild and moderate.

Then, the current occupancy of the Wisma Atlet Pademangan COVID-19 Hospital is 5,047 people. Initially there were 3,331 patients and the day increased by 716 people. Wisma Atlet Pademangan has become a place of isolation for Indonesian migrant workers (PMI)/repatriation.

Meanwhile, currently the isolation locations at the Nagrak Flats (Rusun) in North Jakarta and Pasar Rumput Flats, South Jakarta are temporarily vacated due to the few isolation patients who live. All patients in isolation are currently being taken to Wisma Atlet Kemayoran.
