The Bodies Of 4 TNI Members Who Died Were Attacked By KKB In Maybrat Evacuated To Sorong
SORONG - The bodies of four members of the Indonesian Army who died as a result of an attack by an armed terrorist separatist group in Maybrat Regency have been successfully evacuated by land route to Sorong City.
The bodies of the four members of the Indonesian Army who died in the field of duty arrived at Makorem 181/PVT Sorong at 23:00 WIT, Thursday, September 2. The bodies of TNI members who died were greeted with a military ceremony in front of the 181/PVT Makorem Hall.
Launching Antara, TNI AD soldiers lined up neatly with full weapons while paying their respects to the four Kusuma Nation soldiers who died while carrying out their duties.
The bodies of four members of the Indonesian Army who died in the field of duty, namely First Lieutenant CHB Dirman, Praka Muhammad Dhirhamsyah, Pratu Sul Ansyari Anwar, and Sergeant Ambrosius Apri Yudiman lie in the 181/PVT Makorem Hall before being flown to their respective areas of origin on Friday, September 3.
The Commander of Kodam XVIII/Kasuari, Major General TNI I Nyoman Cantiasa said that the alleged attackers of the Kisor Preparation Koramil Post in South Aifat District, Maybrat Regency, were the Separatist Terrorist Group (KST) with ideological opposites to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
He stated that he had ordered the commander of Korem 181/PVT Sorong as the commander of the Operations Executing Command to pursue and get the KST members under any circumstances.
"I have ordered the Kolaops Commander, Korem 181/PVT to deploy joint personnel to pursue and arrest the group," he added.
