Bobby Nasution Reminds KAI To Promote Medan-Binjai Flyover Project To Affected Residents
MEDAN - The Medan City Government reminded PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) to socialize the plan for the construction of the Medan-Binjai flyover, which is 21.7 kilometers away.
The Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution said that the effort was so that the people affected by the flyover construction plan could understand.
"When meeting with the community later, KAI must be present with the Medan City Government to convey this," said Bobby Nasution, Thursday, September 2.
The Mayor of Medan also mentioned, including the mechanism for controlling PT KAI's land which has been used as a residence by the community on the edge of the crossing.
"Moreover, there will be compassion given to the community. We certainly support the creation of flyovers in Medan," said Mayor Bobby.
Meanwhile, Head of the Class II Railway Engineering Center for the Sumbagut Region, Dandun Prakosa, admitted that land control for the construction of the Medan-Binjai railway flyover is planned this year.
"The scope of this land control starts from KM 1 + 375 to KM 6 + 200 with a width of 12 meters, both on the left and right sides of the railway line," he explained.
"There are three sub-districts and 10 urban villages in Medan that are subject to control. There are 1,175 plots with an area of 45.616 square meters," said Dandun.
