Public Criticized, Secretary General Of DPR Cancels Multivitamin Procurement For Employees Worth Rp2 Billion
JAKARTA - The Secretariat General (Setjen) of the DPR RI canceled the plan to procure multivitamins for all employees with a total budget of Rp. 2 billion, which was sourced from the 2021 State Budget after public criticism.
"After hearing public input, this morning at 10 am I decided to cancel it," said the Secretary General of the DPR RI, Indra Iskandar, Thursday, September 2.
Indra admitted that the budget for the multivitamin procurement reached Rp. 2 billion.
"So we did procure vitamins with a budget ceiling of around Rp2.09 billion," he said.
Based on data on the DPR LPSE website, Wednesday, September 1, it was stated that the tender for the procurement of multivitamins with a package ceiling of Rp 2,096,080,000 with a package HPS value of Rp 2,074,950,955.
The procurement system is fast tender, lowest price, knockout system. The tender is said to have been completed with the winner PT Chemipharma Julien Djonelida. The corrected price was recorded at IDR 1,733,655,000
"With the quick procurement of the auction, the winner was obtained with a figure of Rp. 1,773,000,000," said Indra.
Indra added that a total of 7,856 packages are planned for all people working in parliament.
"This procurement is possible to include all of us, multivitamins for employees in the secretary general environment consisting of 1,308 ASN then 1,486 Pamdals. Then for cleaning and security officers 718 people, the number is 4,344 people. So the total number of packages that are planned to be held is 7,856 packages," he explained.
Indra explained that the package was in the form of vitamins for all employees in the DPR to anticipate the spread of COVID-19. However, he asserted, this plan has nothing to do with council members.
"And this package is in the form of vitamins, which was planned last July to anticipate the spread of COVID-19 in the DPR and has absolutely nothing to do with DPR members. Because DPR members have been covered by insurance," he concluded.
