About Haram Music, Desta: No, Music Can Help And Heal
JAKARTA - Uki ex-NOAH's statement about the law on listening to music is forbidden to create turmoil in society. Many disagree with him. Most recently, Desta also disagreed with Uki.
While talking to Deddy Corbuzier, Desta was asked his opinion about music. At first, Deddy asked why Desta stopped playing music.
"I left Clubeighties. Music is my hobby," said Desta, on her YouTube channel, Thursday, September 2nd.
"Not because the music is forbidden?" asked Deddy Corbuzier again.
"Wow, no, don't you want to talk about it? In my opinion, put it. What religion, each one has a different understanding, the teacher also has a different understanding, right?" said Desta.
"Because nothing is absolutely true, I don't know, if I say my teacher is the most correct," he continued.
Desta has a different understanding because music can actually help other people. "From me, as long as music doesn't make you do bad things. From my point of view, music helps people a lot," he said.
Desta added many of her friends who proved helped by the music. Even failed to attempt suicide because of the music.
"Many of my friends are depressed, many want to commit suicide, and they are helped by music. There is even sleep therapy. It's positive. It depends on how you use it," he said.
Desta believes, good or bad the assessment of music depends on the person who uses it. If music is used to get drunk, then it is clearly wrong, he said. If the lyrics in the music contain elements of provocation, it can also be bad.
"If it's been positive for you, yes, I think so, period, I think God is good. If God is in your heart, you will do anything because of God," said Desta.
