Unconditional Free, This Is What Makes Saipul Jamil Get Out Of Prison Faster
JAKARTA- Cipinang Class I Head of Police, Tony Nainggolan said, Saipul Jamil was declared a free person since today. Ipul, Saipul Jamil's nickname, is serving a sentence of less than 8 years, according to the legal verdict decided by the court.
Tony Nainggolan saw that the dangdut singer behaved well during his detention in Cipinang Prison. Therefore Ipul received remission or reduced sentence, for 30 months.
“Saipul Jamil is pure free, not conditional. So he no longer has anything to do with Cipinang Class I Prison. The person concerned (Saipul Jamil) often prays and often participates in training programs from prisons.” Tony Nainggolan told reporters on Thursday, September 2.
Ipul underwent 2 cases, namely sexual harassment and bribery of judges. These two cases made Dewi Perssik's ex-husband serve an increased sentence. However, Tony said, because Ipul was well-behaved, he was entitled to a remission.
"From the sentence of 8 years in two cases, the total remission is 30 months." concluded Tony.
Previously reported, the release of Saipul Jamil from Cipinang Prison, East Jakarta was welcomed by his family, colleagues and friends. Ipul admitted that he learned a lot about life in the Cipinang cell. But he tried to stay strong through the process, because Ipul felt it was his destiny.
