Jokowi's Son-in-law Bobby Nasution Talks About COVID-19 Vaccine Supply In Medan
MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution acknowledged that the supply of COVID-19 vaccines in recent weeks has been slightly hampered.
"This condition has resulted in a reduction in the intensity of vaccination in Medan," said Bobby Nasution in Medan, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 1.
However, Bobby continued, with the number of available corona virus vaccines, the vaccination program will continue and be centered in 41 health centers in each region.
The Mayor of Medan said that in the future it is planned that vaccination service points will be added by involving 39 auxiliary health centers (pustu).
"If we make it at 80 points, it is feared that with the existing vaccine stock, people who have been scheduled to inject the second dose will not be served," said Bobby Nasution.
Kahiyang Ayu's husband said that if the vaccine stock is sufficient, the vaccination will be carried out even more massively with a reach to the environmental level.
"This is done to encourage the decline in COVID-19 cases and the formation of group immunity for Medan City residents," said Bobby Nasution.
