The Nemangkawi Task Force Arrests 4 KKB Persons, Including The Head Of The District For The Murder Of Employees In Yahukimo Papua
JAYAPURA - Joint personnel of the Nemangkawi Task Force arrested four people who are strongly suspected of being involved in the Armed Criminal Group (KKB). They are suspected of being involved in the murder of company employees in Yahukimo Papua.
At first, the team caught one person passing through the Yahukimo Police Headquarters. Of the people with the initials HH who were arrested, it was known that there were dozens of people suspected of being KKB at the house of the head of the Wusama District with the initials EB.
"Joint personnel went directly to the Wusama District Head's house to make the arrests," said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal in a written statement, Wednesday, September 1.
During the raid, the personnel arrested three men with the initials EB, Y and YH. Currently, the three have been detained at the Yahukimo Police Headquarters Rutan.
“Joint personnel managed to secure four people who are strongly suspected of being involved in the Armed Criminal Group (KKB), which is a follow-up to the murder of two PT. Indo Papua, on August 22," continued Kombes AM Kamal.
EB is the head of the Wusama District who is suspected of being the mastermind and financier of KKB activities. HH is a driver who often delivers KKB needs.
Meanwhile, Y is EB's nephew whose role is to prepare KKB logistics needs. Meanwhile, YH is a member of the KKB who often takes part directly in various actions, including the murder of four construction workers in Bingky Village, Seradala District on June 29, 2021 and the killing of two PT Indo Papua workers at the Kali Brazza Bridge on August 22.
"We have named EB, HH, Y and YH as suspects in premeditated murder which are part of the KKB, which in recent times have often carried out terrorist acts in Yahukimo," said Kombes AM Kamal.
