Upset Citizens! 50 Meters From Man Hanging Himself In Forest, Police Find Woman's Body Wrapped In Sack

BLITAR - The Blitar City Resort Police (Polres) investigated the case of finding a woman who died wrapped in a sack in the sengon forest area, Kawedusan Village, Ponggok District, Blitar Regency, East Java.

Ponggok Police Chief AKP Sony Suhartanto said the discovery of the body originated from reports from the public that someone was found dead by hanging himself in Kawedusan Village, Ponggok District.

"We went to the TKP (scene) of Kawedusan Village, there were people who hanged themselves. After that, members carried out the crime scene and 50 meters away there was a motorbike in the middle of which there was a sack," he said in Blitar, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, September 1.

Members are suspicious, because physically in the sack looks like a human. When approached and checked, it turned out that the sack contained the body of a woman.

The woman's body was in a prone position on the leg seat of an automatic motorcycle.

He added that the woman's body also did not show any injuries from sharp objects, but that the woman, who was estimated to be in her 30s, had bruises on her face.

In addition to the woman's body in the sack, his party also took care of the hanging victim who was taken down and examined from the outside.

Officers found an identity or identity card on the man's body with the initials HS, a resident of Kawedusan Village, Ponggok District, Blitar Regency. HS, who is about 45 years old, is known to work on a farm not far from his home.

Meanwhile, the sacks used to wrap the woman who was found dead, are also used sacks that are often found on farms.

The woman who was found dead in the sack had the initials DWL, a resident of Darungan Village, Kademangan District, Blitar Regency. He is about 30 years old.

His party could not confirm the connection between the two bodies that were found. Members only carried out the crime scene, evacuated the victims and were taken to the hospital and secured a number of evidences.

The evidence that was secured included a motorcycle, a cell phone, a bag, Rp1,570,000 in cash and a number of other items. Currently, the case has been handled by the Blitar City Police.

The location where the body was found was also secured by officers by installing a police line. Unauthorized residents are also not allowed to approach, for further investigation.
