KPK Corrects Corruption Case Detainees Jiwasraya Reactive Rapid Test

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that the Attorney General's Office (AGO) is holding prisoners in connection with the alleged corruption case of Jiwasraya's reactive insurance rapid test. The prisoner was named Hendrisman. He was entrusted to the KPK detention center Pomdam Jaya branch, Guntur, Jakarta.

"The information we received is that the prosecutor has carried out a rapid test and the results are reactive. Currently, further handling is being carried out by being taken to the Adhyaksa Hospital for a swab test," said Acting KPK spokesman for prosecution Ali Fikri to reporters, Wednesday, 1 July.

After being declared reactive through a rapid test, Hendrisman was then transferred to the Rutan KPK branch of Kavling C1 (old KPKJ Building) to carry out independent isolation.

Meanwhile, other detainees, he said, are still waiting for the results of Hendrisman's swab test for further action.

Previously, three suspects in the suspected corruption case of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya were deposited at the KPK Detention Center during the investigation and trial process.

The three suspects who were entrusted were the President Commissioner of PT Trada Alam Minera Tbk, Heru Hidayat; Commissioner of PT Hanson International Tbk, Benny Tjokrosaputro; and President Director of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya, Hendrisman Rahim. The three of them were assigned to different KPK detention centers.

"Heru Hidayat at the KPK Rutan Kavling C1, Beny Tjokro at the KPK Rutan Kavling K4, and Hendrisman at the Pondam Guntur Branch of the KPK Detention Center," said Acting KPK spokesman for prosecution Ali Fikri in a written statement, Tuesday, May 12.

The lending of this remand center, said Ali, is a form of coordination and supervision of prosecution between corruption eradication agencies.
