Evil Dead 2 Actor, Danny Hicks Dies
JAKARTA - Danny Hicks, the actor known for the film Evil Dead II, passed away on Tuesday, June 30. Hicks died of cancer which he suffered in recent months.
This news was first delivered by Full Empire Productions as Danny Hicks' management. Through their Facebook account, they stated, “Danny died at his home in CA. We love you Danny, rest our friends. "
Previously, in early June, Danny Hicks announced he had stage four cancer on his Facebook account. Healing support and prayers were sent by his friends.
"I have one to three years to live. But I'm telling you, I'm going to prepare a few things into my life for 68 years."

Reporting from Variety, on June 16, his relatives wrote that Hicks' condition was so worrying that he could not eat or sleep because he felt sick.
Danny Hicks first became known through his role as Jake, a local who was trapped in a cabin in Evil Dead II. Born on July 19, 1951, Hicks starred in films such as Oz the Great and Powerful and Wishmaster.
His success working with director Sam Raimi in Evil Dead made him return to work with Raimi in Darkman and Spider Man 2. Danny Hicks last played in The Blood Hunter in 2019. He died at the age of 68.
