Calls Gli Azzurri Must Be Humble Despite European Champion Status, Jorginho: Offense, That's When Bad Things Happen
JAKARTA - Euro 2020 champions Italy will undergo the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers in the international break this week.
The Gli Azzurri are unbeaten in 34 games and have gone into three 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Bulgaria, Switzerland and Lithuania.
Creative midfielder Jorginho warned Italy 'no longer a surprise' to anyone against.
"This is when the difficulties begin, because Italy is no longer surprising. We are where we deserve to be and everyone who faces us now will do so with a different attitude," the Chelsea midfielder told a news conference.
"We are happy with what we achieved over the summer, but we have to stay humble, because when we let our guard down, that's when bad things happen."

The Gli Azzurri's first game after the Euros is against Bulgaria on Thursday night and Jorginho is not taking things lightly.
"We have to be wary of Bulgaria, because they also have power and we shouldn't be surprised. They can be very dangerous on the counter-attack."
On the other hand, he stressed, Roberto Mancini changed the Azzurri's style of football to suit the players they had. It was a message not only to other teams, but also to other Italians that their game was very entertaining.
“Many national teams have quality, but what sets us apart is the unity we have as a group. It makes the difference and I think that will continue going forward," said Jorginho.
