Payment Of Rp20 Million To Hasan Aminuddin To Get A Ticket For The Village Head Office In Probolinggo
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named the Regent of Probolinggo Puput Tantriana Sari and her husband, member of the DPR RI NasDem Party faction Hasan Aminuddin, as suspects in the alleged bribery case of buying and selling positions at the Probolinggo Regency Government, East Java.
From the Hand Capture Operation (OTT), the KPK revealed that it turned out that the candidate for acting village head had to pay Rp. 20 million and a tribute of Rp. 5 million per hectare from the village treasury land in order to get a 'gold ticket' from Hasan Aminuddin as Puput Tantriana's representation.
Deputy Chairman of the KPK Alexander Marwata said Hasan Aminuddin had an important role in this case. The reason is that the candidate for the village head must get his signature to smooth their steps.
"There are special requirements in which the proposed names of the acting village heads must obtain HA approval in the form of initials on the official memorandum of proposing names as a representation of the PTS and the candidates for the acting village heads are also required to provide and deposit a certain amount of money," Alex said in a press conference that was broadcast. on YouTube KPK RI, Tuesday, August 31 in the morning.
In addition to asking for Rp20 million from the candidates for village heads, they were also asked to provide a tribute for renting the village treasury land at a rate of Rp5 million per hectare and collected through the sub-district head.
"It is suspected that there was an order from HA to summon sub-district heads to bring in elected village heads and village heads who will retire," said Alexander.
"HA has also requested that the village head not come to meet HA individually, but coordinated through the sub-district head," he added.
Then how much money did they collect before they got caught in OTT?
Alexander said that during the silent operation on Sunday, August 29 in the morning, the KPK managed to secure evidence in the form of documents and money totaling Rp362.5 million.
The money, he said, came from various sources. First, the money came from a meeting of 12 regional head officials on Friday, August 27.
At that time, Rp240 million had been collected from a number of village head candidates and handed over to the Krejengan sub-district head, Dody Kurniawan, to be handed over to Hasan Aminuddin and Puput Tantriana Sari.
The second source, the money was from a candidate for a village head who wanted to serve in the Paiton sub-district and had been collected by the Paiton sub-district head, Muhamad Ridwan, amounting to Rp112.5 million.
The KPK still does not know for sure the purpose of this married couple selling their positions. Thus, Alexander ensures that he will continue to investigate where the proceeds from the sale will flow.
"What is the motive? Investigators will investigate later. Of course, corruption is to get something and in this case money. Well, what is the money for? It can be used for various things, it's up to those who ask," he said.
However, the KPK emphasized that giving money to Puput was a condition for ASN in the Probolinggo Regency Government to serve as village heads in order to fill the void due to the delay in the simultaneous village head elections (pilkades).
"There is a contribution, Rp. 20 million per person and an additional Rp. 5 million per hectare of tribute from the village treasury land," said Alex.
Complementing Alexander's statement, the Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Karyoto said his party would also track down any suspected criminal acts apart from exploring the motive for asking for money.
"Whether this is said to be pocket money or something, we will ask further. We are also responsible for tracing whether there are other criminal acts other than criminal acts related to the collection of PJs because there is a vacancy," he said.
