Recommended Favorite Tourist Attractions In South Korea From Boy William And Calvin Jeremy

JAKARTA - The invasion of Korean dramas made the charm of the country of South Korea as a tourist destination increase dramatically. Starting from the culture to the culture, everything became popular and loved by the community.

Therefore, countless Indonesian people make South Korea a holiday destination. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions on physical travel are still not allowed.

Luckily, Boy William, Citra Scholastica, Calvin Jeremy and David Depepedia had time to visit South Korea before the pandemic. In the event #AkudanKorea Imagine Your Korea from Home, they shared stories and recommendations when they went to South Korea.

Boy William, who often visits Korea, doesn't have any travel plans. He prefers to go to his destination by impromptu.

"I don't know why Korea is always in my Top 3 (holiday) list. I feel like I'm in a different place but the food is according to Indonesian tongues," said Boy William at the KTO event today, August 31.

Boy chose Hongdae to visit Korea because there he felt the vibe was very good. David Dwi Praharsa as a content creator has a similar but not the same experience. When making Open Trip in 2019, David had his own tricks to feel different.

David applied the concept to his tour and followed the style of the people there by taking the subway, bringing his own luggage. "To be like an independent tourist," he said.

Different from Boy and David, Citra Scholastika suggested Myeongdong to travel in South Korea. "Because everything is in (Myeongdong) from the culinary, fashion, skincare, make up ranks. But the most memorable is also in Pyeongchang. Something memorable because it was the first time,” explained Citra, who had experienced skiing in Pyeongchang.

Calvin Jeremy who was appointed as the Ambassador of the 2021 Welcome Daehakro Annual Festival introduced Daehakro as a tourist destination. He said, Daehakro is very suitable for people who like art.

Daehakro has 150 theaters with various types of performances ranging from musicals, concerts to festivals. Several public figures also started their careers in this area, namely Kim Seon Ho and Jeon Mi Do.

"Through this collaboration, I hope that the Indonesian people will understand better that music or performances in Korea are not only K-pop, but there are still many various types of performing arts on Daehakro Street which it would be a shame to miss if we visit Korea later," said Calvin Jeremy. .
