The End Of The Marriage Of A Coffee Trader Couple At The Item Bridge, Victim's Parents: They Are A Harmonious Couple

JAKARTA - The marriage of Alfi Maryansyah and Nita Trismaya was finally separated by death due to an accident that occurred at the Item Bridge flea market, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, where the couple was looking for sustenance.

Alfi Maryansyah died in hospital after his stall was hit by an official TNI car on Sunday, August 29, at around 23:00 WIB. Two other victims, Alfi's wife (Nita Trismaya) and another trader were injured and are undergoing treatment at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Central Jakarta.

Saunan (61), the parents of the deceased, said Alfi and Nita were selling together in the Item Bridge area. The two of them are a harmonious couple and are tireless in seeking fortune for the family.

"Yes, both (every day). At the time of the incident, Alfi and Nita were in the same place. They were sitting, doing business, waiting for merchandise", he told VOI, Monday, August 30, yesterday.

According to Saunan, Nita suffered serious head injuries. He needs special treatment from the medical team.

"His head is cracked if I'm not mistaken. It's just that I haven't controlled everything, because I rushed to take care of her husband. After all, his condition was critical. Now the wife of the deceased is still bleeding from her ear", said Nita's father-in-law.

Saunan said that currently the wife of his late son has been referred to a large hospital with complete medical equipment. Nita was transferred to Gatot Subroto Army Hospital.

"Yes (it has moved to Gatot Subroto Army Hospital", he said.

Saunan also thanked the TNI for being responsible.

"Alhamdulillah, I am grateful, the TNI is still willing to help. This is just to help with funerals and food. There will also be seven days for tahlilan (pray for the dead)", he said.

Saunan hopes that the TNI can also help ease the burden on the families of the victims.

"Later we ask for black and white, if it's just verbal, there is no certainty", he said.

Alfi's departure leaves two children who are still in elementary school (SD) and a wife who is still in critical condition at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital due to the accident. Previously, it was reported that a unit of the TNI service car hit a street vendor (PKL) at a flea market in Item Bridge,  Jatinegara Timur II street, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta on Sunday, August 29, evening.

As a result of the accident, at least 3 traders suffered severe injuries all over their bodies and were hit hard.

Based on the information gathered, the driver of the car is undergoing inspection at the Pomdam Jaya. However, until this news was revealed there has been no official statement.
