Video Of PT DKI Strengthens Habib Rizieq's 4-Year Prison Sentence For The UMMI Hospital Case

JAKARTA - The Jakarta High Court (PT) panel of judges upheld the first-degree verdict for the defendant Rizieq Shihab in the case of the results of the swab at the Bogor UMMI Hospital. So, Rizieq was still sentenced to four years in prison.

"Today there are three cases that were tried on behalf of Dr. Tatat, Hanif Alatas, Muhamad Rizieq, all three of them were decided, and PT was of the opinion that what the East Jakarta District Court had considered was correct and the PT confirmed the decision of the East Jakarta District Court for these three cases." said PT DKI Spokesperson Artha Teresia as reported by Youtube voidotid, Monday, August 30.

Furthermore, he said, his party will send a copy of this decision to the court of first instance. Namely the East Jakarta District Court.

"The verdict will be sent to the East Jakarta District Court to be notified to the public prosecutor and the defendant," said Artha.

According to him, this decision can still be taken by other legal remedies, namely an appeal to the Supreme Court. This is done if one or both parties do not accept the PT DKI decision.

"They have 14 working days to file an appeal if they don't accept the verdict, but if they accept, the case is over," he said.
