JAKARTA - The Head of the Regional Defense Agency, Colonel Arh Herwin BS, said that his party had monitored the incident of an accident carried out by TNI personnel at the Item Bridge, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, on Sunday, August 29 at around 23.00 WIB.
However, Herwin BS could not provide details regarding the identity of the perpetrators. He only said that the incident had been handled by Pomdam Jaya.

According to a number of residents who saw the incident, the incident occurred on Sunday, August 29, around 23.00 WIB. At first the car drove from the direction of Jatinegara Station towards the Item Bridge TL.
Saeprudin, one of the traders around the location who saw the incident said the official car suddenly lost control and hit a motorbike parked in front of Rio's inn. The yamaha Mio motorbike was dragged about 7 meters from the parking lot.
"Here, right on the sidewalk, the man is selling. He was hit and badly injured. He has been taken to the Premier Jatinegara hospital," he told VOI at the location, Monday, August 30, early in the morning.
