The First Day Of Face-to-face Learning In Jakarta, Elementary Schools Must Prepare Spare Masks For Students

JAKARTA - Head of the Public Relations Sub-Section of the DKI Education Office, Taga Radja Gah, conveyed the temporary monitoring of face-to-face schools on the first day in Jakarta.

In his monitoring at an elementary school in the Cakung area, East Jakarta, Taga said that the implementation of health protocols must be strictly maintained. In fact, schools are advised to prepare spare masks for students.

"This is a grade 1 elementary school student, yes, they need more intensive monitoring, they need assistance, then prepare a spare mask," said Taga when contacted, Monday, August 30.

Then, officers must also direct students to wash their hands when they just enter the school area. Then, the students were also directed to each of the intended classes.

"When you enter the classroom, the seats are already positioned. The students are one and a half meters apart by vacating one seat next to them," said Taga.

Teachers who teach also remind their students to bring food and drinks from home because snacks are not allowed outside the school or in the canteen.

"During the process, there were no children playing in the hallway because they were supervised by the teacher with the COVID Task Force at school," said Taga.

After studying, the students were asked to leave the classroom to go to their house by lining up and passing a different route from the entrance to the class.

"When heading back to the gate, each child will be picked up one by one. If the parents have not arrived, the child will wait in a chair near the school gate, accompanied by the teacher until the parents arrive," explained Taga.
