The Regent Of Probolinggo Was Silent When He Was Brought To Jakarta After Being Questioned By The Corruption Eradication Commission At The East Java Regional Police

SURABAYA - Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari along with nine people who were arrested in the KPK's sting operation (OTT) were brought to Jakarta. The regent of Probolinggo was first examined by the KPK team at the East Java Police.

"After they were sent from the Regional Police, they were immediately taken to Jakarta to undergo further examination at the KPK," said Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko, Monday, August 30.

Gatot did not provide any other explanation regarding the arrest of the number one person in Probolinggo.

"The East Java Regional Police only assist with security and escort, that is the authority of the KPK," he said.

Apart from Puput, her husband, a member of the NasDem faction DPR, Hasan Aminudin, and eight other people were also investigated by the KPK at the East Java Regional Police. Puput wears a white shirt combined with a red outer, and Hasan Aminudin wears a sports suit.

When they left the East Java Police Ditreskrimsus building, all of them did not provide any information. They immediately got into the bus that had been provided by the East Java Regional Police. Not only the alleged perpetrators, several evidences such as bags and suitcases were put into the bus by the police.

Apart from Puput, based on information also those who were caught in the Hand Catching Operation (OTT) were DPR RI member Hasan Aminuddin, Puput's husband.

"So far, about 10 people have been arrested, including regional heads, several ASN Probolinggo Regency Government, and other related parties," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in his statement.

Currently, he said, the KPK team was still making inquiries to the arrested parties. "Then within 1 x 24 hours, we will immediately determine the attitude towards the results of the investigation activities," said Ali.

In addition, he said that until now the KPK team as well as those arrested were still in East Java. "We will always inform the public about its developments," he said.
