Hasan Aminuddin Netted OTT With His Wife Probolinggo Regent, DPR MKD Waits For Process At KPK

JAKARTA - The House of Representatives' Honorary Court (MKD) has spoken about the news that DPR member NasDem faction Hasan Aminuddin was caught in the KPK's sting operation (OTT) in Probolinggo, East Java, Monday, August 30, early in the morning.

Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Honorary Court (MKD), Habiburokman, admitted that he had received the news from information circulating among members of the council.

However, he said, the MKD leadership was still waiting for official information from the KPK regarding the arrest.

"It's been busy since morning at the DPR's WAG (WhatsApp Group, ed), but until now we haven't received complete and official information," Habiburokman told reporters, Monday, August 30.

The deputy general chairman (Waketum) of the Gerindra Party stated that, in principle, the MKD would fully hand over this matter to the KPK and law enforcement authorities.

"The MKD will follow and follow up on whatever is decided by law enforcement," said Habiburokhman.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the NasDem Party Fraction at the DPR Ahmad Ali stated that the party's stance regarding Hasan Aminuddin who was caught by the KPK OTT will be determined after an official announcement is made.

"The NasDem Party DPP really appreciates the ongoing process at the KPK. So then, I ask all media friends, to hold back. We are waiting for a decision or an official announcement from the KPK regarding the arrests that took place today," said Ahmad Ali who also Deputy Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Monday, August 30.
