PKS Founder Hilmi Aminuddin Passes Away, Is Buried In Lembang
JAKARTA - The founder and former chairman of the Syuro Council of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Hilmi Aminuddin has died.
Hilmi died at Santosa Central Hospital, Bandung, West Java at 14.24 WIB and this was confirmed by PKS Spokesman Pipin Sopian.
"That's right. God willing, the family will provide official information regarding what illness," said Pipin when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, June 30.
The plan, Hilmi will be buried in Lembang, West Java. While the time is still waiting for the family decision. When asked about Hilmi's illness at the end of his life, Pipin was reluctant to answer further.
"May Allah SWT accept his acts of worship and place them in the best place in jannah (heaven)," said Pipin.
PKS politician Tifatul Sembiring also conveyed this news of grief through his Twitter account. "Innalilahi wa inna ilaihi rajiuun, our teacher KH Hilmi Aminuddin passed away, Chairman of the PKS Syuro Council (2003-2015)," he wrote.

It is known, in 1998 Hilmi and a number of his colleagues founded the Justice Party which in 2002, this party later changed its name to the Prosperous Justice Party.
In 2005, Hilmi was appointed as the Syuro Council to replace Rahmat Abdullah who died, who was the highest institution in PKS.
