Rawamangun Velodrome Re-opens, Residents Who Enter Must Have Been Vaccinated With COVID-19
JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government has reopened the Rawamangun Velodrome, East Jakarta, for public sports activities starting today.
The opening of the Velodrome is in accordance with the Decree of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Number 1026 of 2021 concerning PPKM Level 3. Last week, the Velodrome was closed to the public because DKI is still implementing PPKM Level 4.
Head of the Corporate Secretariat Division of PT Jakarta Propertindo Nadia Diposanjoyo said that people who will enter the Rawamangun Velodrome environment must have carried out the COVID-19 vaccination.
"Later, when entering the Jakarta International Velodrome, there must be a one-dose or two-dose vaccine with evidence of a vaccine certificate in the JAKI application, Pedulilindungi, and the relevant authorities," said Nadia in a statement, Monday, August 30.
Meanwhile, those who have not or cannot vaccinate due to health reasons can still enter the Velodrome. They are survivors of COVID-19 within a grace period of three months after confirmed COVID-19, people who are contraindicated for vaccination, and children aged less than 12 years.
"For COVID-19 survivors within a grace period of three months after confirmed COVID-19, they can show laboratory evidence. Meanwhile, for people who are contraindicated for vaccination, they can show evidence of a doctor's certificate," said Nadia.
When entering the Velodrome, visitors will have their body temperature checked first. Then, when inside the location, visitors must still comply with health protocols, namely wearing masks, maintaining distance, washing hands, and staying away from crowds.
The Velodrome area, continued Nadia, is open every day, starting at 06.00 WIB until 20.00 WIB. Visitors who may enter are limited to a capacity of 25 percent of the capacity of 3,000 people, or as many as 750 visitors at the same time.
