KPK Conducts OTT In Probolinggo Regency, A Number Of People Arrested

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held a Hand Catch Operation (OTT) in Probolinggo Regency, East Java. From the silent operation, a number of people were arrested for allegedly committing a riot.

"The KPK team has arrested several parties suspected of being the perpetrators of corruption in the East Java region," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Ali Fikri told reporters, Monday, August 30.

However, he did not specify who the parties were netted in the OTT because the KPK Task Force is still working.

"The team is still working, and we will make sure that we will inform you of the progress later," Ali explained.

He said whoever was arrested and the evidence that was secured would be presented at a press conference. So, Ali asked the public to continue to be patient.

"Regarding the full case, who was arrested and what evidence was secured, we can't present it at this time," he concluded.
