8,900 Schools In Jakarta Are Targeted For Face-to-face Learning
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Education Office is targeting around 8,900 schools to implement face-to-face learning (PTM) schemes by November 2021. To achieve this, a number of schemes will be implemented.
"It seems that our target is November. If the schools (recorded) are only 8,900 Disdik," said Head of Public Relations Taga Radja Gah when contacted, Sunday, August 29.
In the first stage, at least 610 schools from kindergarten to high school will implement the PTM scheme on August 30, tomorrow. Later, a team from the Education Office will evaluate the implementation of the scheme.
Meanwhile, to increase the number of schools, an assessment will be carried out in advance. It is recommended that the addition of the number of schools that apply PTM husks is carried out every two weeks.
"The prediction is 2 weeks (adding schools). So this is the pattern, there are 3 days of assessment 1,2 then the results are ranked, verified," said Taga. Even though there are additional schools, the rules in PTM remain the same. One of them is a maximum capacity of 50 percent.
Then, Taga also said that vaccination is not a requirement for students who want to be involved in PTM. However, every school will encourage them to get vaccinated.
"No, (vaccination) is not a mandatory requirement for PTM, but we continue to urge children who have not been vaccinated to be vaccinated immediately," said Taga.
