Tomorrow 60 Schools In Central Jakarta Will Start Face-to-face School

JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta City Government noted that 60 schools from kindergarten, elementary, junior high to high school levels are ready to carry out limited face-to-face learning (PTM) starting Monday, August 30.

Central Jakarta Mayor Dhany Sukma said the school had been evaluated and assessed by the DKI Jakarta Education Office and was declared qualified to implement PTM with strict health protocols.

"It has passed the 'assessment', as with the approval of his parents, his parents agreed to PTM in terms of supporting infrastructure, from the health side it is also adequate, God willing, we will try," said Dhany in Cempaka Putih, quoted by Antara, Sunday, August 29. .

Dhany explained that in the area of the Central Jakarta Education Sub-department I there are 49 schools, while the Second Education Sub-Department has 11 schools that are ready to implement PTM.

Learning activities will start at 07.00 WIB with a maximum student capacity of 50 percent.

Dhany said that the number of schools implementing PTM this time was more than during the PTM trial in April and last June.

In fact, there are a number of schools that previously did not take part in the PTM trial, but still carry out PTM on Monday, after being declared to have passed the "assessment".

During the PTM implementation, Dhany asked parents to play an active role in supervising their children at school, especially during school hours. Students are advised not to do activities that are gathered after school.

"We also urge parents to at least supervise their children when leaving and returning. It is ensured that they do not stop by, so their activities must be monitored," said Dhany.
