Indosurya Savings And Loans Cooperative Invites Creditors To Discuss Directly By Opening A Command Post
JAKARTA - The manager of the Indosurya Cipta Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) confirmed the intention to resolve problems with creditors by opening a discussion room for an explanation of the peace proposal scheme with creditors or customers.
This room is a Posko for discussion with creditors to explain the peace proposal. The proposal scheme itself on Monday 29 June was submitted by the KSP Indosurya Cipta's legal team to the creditor and creditor's attorney.
"The board opens a space for discussion. I, as the founder, don't go anywhere. The board and we understand what the members and prospective members are concerned about. Therefore, the discussion room is open until this weekend," said Henry Surya, founder of KSP Indosurya, in a statement received, Tuesday 30 June.
Henry again expressed his party's intention to find the best solution for two parties, KSP Indosurya and its members / prospective members. He said there was no intention to do bad deeds to members and prospective members.
On the other hand, he regretted that many parties raised false issues about him, his family, and discredited the image of Indosurya. The attorney for KSP Indosurya, Hendra Widjaya said that his party had submitted a hardcopy of the peace proposal at the trial yesterday.
Hendra stated that the KSP Indosurya opens opportunities for creditors and creditors' proxies to convey their aspirations and input so that the peace proposal can be accepted and revised.
On the other hand, KSP Indosurya's lawyers also believe that the creditors will give KSP Indosurya the opportunity to carry out the peace proposal in solving the problem. He also asked creditors to submit questions directly to debtors to avoid confusing information and positive problem solving.
"So that creditors can study and provide input, therefore the trial is postponed for further discussion," said Hendra.
Regarding PKPU, Hendra considered the PKPU request personally as a "fabricated" step because it was proven that no customer money had flowed to Henry Surya's personal account, but it went to the KSP Indosurya account.
Hendra emphasized that KSP Indosurya has a legal entity Number 430 / BH / XII.1 / 1.829.31 / 11/2012 which has been registered since 2012, so it cannot be said that the cooperative is "fake" because it has clear permits and is registered with the Ministry of Cooperatives.
In addition, Hendra said that the founder and former Chairman of the KSP Indosurya Management, Henry Surya, has a strong economy and has a background of decades of good business.
"It is clear that the motive for bankruptcy is inaccurate because the PKPU principle is peace and all members of the KSP Indosurya majority support peace," said Hendra.
Customer ExpectationsOne of the customers or members of the Indosurya KSP in Surabaya, Marsha, hopes that the Indosurya KSP will not end bankruptcy through PKPU, but return to operating as before in order to carry out its obligations.
"My hope is that Indosurya can continue to operate and in paying our money to completion in the shortest possible timeframe," said Marsha.
Marsha said that he also represented his parents who had entered retirement age, and desperately needed the funds saved in Indosurya for survival, even though they were in installments. He also considered the criminal report to Henry Surya would make it difficult and prevent customers from getting their money back.
"Because Mr. Henry Surya as the founder of the Indosurya Group is the key person in helping customer funds to return, and it will make restructuring difficult if the main person is not there or is detained," he said.
For about a year as a customer, Marsha admitted that he had never had a bad experience with the Indosurya savings and loan cooperative. This woman who keeps billions of rupiah in cash is optimistic that KSP Indosurya will be able to complete its obligations to its customers. Moreover, he should have received the money when it was due in March and April 2020.
He hopes that the trust of customers can be used by the management of the Indosurya cooperative to work as well as possible to solve problems and not default.
Marsha said that the current condition was uncertain because of COVID-19 and he needed the money. However, he also understands the difficulties faced by the Indosurya cooperative.
Meanwhile, customers of KSP Indosurya, Liana and Husna expect 50 percent of the investment funds to be returned and the rest is paid in installments due to education and medical expenses.
