Winning 2 Times In 13 Matches, Valencia Sacked Celades
JAKARTA - Valencia fired head coach Albert Celades after El Che lost two matches in a row.
Assistant coach Voro Gonzalez will temporarily be in charge of the first team until the 2019-2020 season ends. For Voro, it is his sixth period to handle Valencia.

Mestalla's Bats have won just one of five games since the league returned from stoppage due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They have only won twice in the last 13 matches in all competitions.
Celades, who took over from Marcelino last September, left the club in eighth place in La Liga. They are eight points adrift of a Champions League place.
"Valencia has communicated to Albert Celades about his dismissal from his position as first team coach, as an immediate effect (of the team's results)," said a Valencia statement.
"The club would like to publicly thank him for his work and dedication during his time at the club - a period during which we reached qualification for the knockout stages of the Champions League and an important win on the grounds we didn't win before.
"The club also appreciates his help and contribution since he took over as first team coach at difficult times, and wishes him success in his future endeavors."

Valencia, who face Athletic Bilbao in their next match in La Liga, are also confirmed to have lost sporting director Cesar Sanchez who has resigned.
Media reports suggested Sanchez quit his post after he told his squad earlier in the day that Celades would continue to coach Valencia. However, club owner Peter Lim made his own decisions over the fate of the man who played at Barcelona and Real Madrid.
