Natural Resources Sector PNBP Reaches IDR 83.14 Trillion As Of July 2021
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) recorded non-tax state revenues (PNBP) from the natural resources (SDA) sector reaching Rp. 83.14 trillion until July 2021. The amount is equivalent to 68.60 percent of the target set. in 2021, which is Rp. 121.20 trillion.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif said that another scope of PNBP of the ESDM Sector was in the form of contributions, sourced from downstream oil and gas or oil and gas business entities (fuel oil/BBM and piped gas), Domestic Market Obligation (DMO), services, rental services and training education. .
Furthermore, said Arifin, there is also acceptance of the Public Service Agency (BLU) and so on.
"Our ministry is one of the ministries that contributes to state revenue in the form of PNBP, consisting of natural resources, oil and gas, minerals and coal (minerba), geothermal, and others," he said in a written statement, Friday, August 27.
The oil and gas sector, said Arifin, is the largest contributor to PNBP in the ESDM sector until July 2021, amounting to IDR 47.58 trillion. Followed by mineral and coal of Rp. 33.57 trillion, geothermal of Rp. 0.79 trillion, and others of Rp. 1.20 trillion.
"Hopefully the achievements at the end of the year can exceed the achievements in 2020," he said.
In particular, the realization of PNBP BLU in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in the last three years has always been above 90 percent. The details are Rp270.3 billion in 2018, Rp446.3 billion in 2019, and Rp428.1 billion in 2020. The PNBP target in 2021 is oil and gas and coal of Rp121.20 trillion.
Furthermore, Arifin said in detail that it consisted of oil and gas of Rp. 75 trillion, mineral and coal of Rp. 39.10 trillion, geothermal of Rp. 1.44 trillion, and other sectors of Rp. 5.66 trillion.
"One of the efforts to increase PNBP in this sector is to use e-PNBP as a single and accountable payment medium, to increase coordination between ministries, to supervision through MODI," he said.
For your information, in 2020 the PNBP of the ESDM sector has managed to contribute around Rp. 108.7 trillion or 31 percent of the total National PNBP, which is Rp. 343.8 trillion.
