JAKARTA - The suspect in the alleged blasphemy case, Yahya Waloni, was taken to the hospital. Because, it was later discovered that Yahya Waloni was suffering from heart disease.

With this health condition that needed attention and treatment, Yahya Waloni was decided to be taken to the hospital. But still under the supervision of investigators.

Previously, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, said that Yahya Waloni was rushed to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. Because, at that time his health condition gradually declined after being arrested.

"That's right (Yahya Waloni was taken to the Police Hospital)," said Ramadhan.

For information, Yahya Waloni was arrested at his residence in Permata Housing, Cluster Dragon, Cileungsi, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Thursday, August 26.

The arrest of Yahya was based on the police report (LP) number LP/B/0287/IV/2021/BARESKRIM dated 27 April 2021. In the report, Yahya was considered to have insulted the Bible in his lecture.

Currently, Yahya Waloni has been named a suspect in the alleged blasphemy or blasphemy case.
