Woman's Body Found In Bandung River PSK, Killed Because Of Arguing Over Rp100 Thousand Money

BANDUNG - Iqbal Akhmad Romadoni (23), a resident of Jalan Rancasawo, Buahbatu District, Bandung City, West Java, had the heart to kill an aged woman with the initials SS at her home.

The incident began on August 12 at around 04.30 WIB. That morning the perpetrator named Iqbal contacted the victim to come to his house.

"The perpetrator contacted the victim via a short message application, it was later discovered that this victim was a prostitute," said Bandung Police Chief Kombes Aswin Sipayung as quoted by Antara, Friday, August 27.

After arriving at the perpetrator's house, an argument broke out between the perpetrator and the victim. After the altercation, the emotional perpetrator then stabbed the victim with a knife.

"So the suspect couldn't have sex, so the victim asked for Rp100 thousand in exchange, but the suspect became emotional," said Aswin.

After the victim was killed in the morning, Aswin said, the perpetrator wrapped the victim using sheets and blankets that were in the house where the incident occurred. Then at 18.30 WIB, the perpetrator took the victim to be thrown into the river.

"The victim was kept for a few hours until the afternoon, after 18.30 WIB the victim was brought using a sand cart in front of the perpetrator's house, and the perpetrator pushed the victim into the river," he said. Then, on August 16, residents found the victim's body. The police also conducted an investigation. Until finally managed to get information on the killer.

From there, the perpetrator referred to Iqbal Akhmad Romadoni (23). The police gave chase, until finally Iqbal was arrested in the Ciamis area, after trying to escape. The police also took firm action by shooting at the perpetrator's leg for trying to escape.

"The murder incident occurred on August 12, 2021, then on August 16, 2021 residents found the victim's body in the Cidurian River," said Aswin

In this murder case, the police charged Iqbal with Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning anyone who deliberately takes the life of another person with a threat of 15 years in prison.
