Phone Police, Oskar, John Kei's Subordinate, Asks To Be Arrested

JAKARTA - Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said that his party had again secured three of John Kei's men who had been on the run for the assault case at Nus Kei's residence. They are MAN, PM and ARK.

These three perpetrators surrendered at different times. Based on the results of interim checks, they played the role of the person who carried out the shooting and hit a housing security officer while running away.

For MAN suspects, surrender themselves to Polda Metro Jaya. The reason is because he feels uneasy after being declared a DPO. In this case, MAN played the role of the person who carried out the shooting to frighten local residents and housing security officers.

"The role of MAN was in one vehicle in Calya's car and participated in the shooting so that the vehicle had two cents," said Yusri.

Then, ARK also surrendered to the East Jakarta Metro Police. In his case, he played the role of a driver who crashed into a housing security officer while running away.

Finally, PM played a role in destroying Nus Kei's house. However, the PM's surrender has a different story. This is because he actually contacted the police to be arrested in his hiding place in the Cikarang area, West Java.

"PM alias Oskar, he also surrendered in the Cikarang area. So they were all worried, he was afraid to be a fugitive and he called the police there and was picked up by the police," said Yusri.

The number of suspects continues

Meanwhile, the hunting of John Kei's men by the police is increasingly being carried out. This is because after the investigation process of the arrested suspects, the number of perpetrators has increased.

Previously, the police stated that around 39 people were involved in John Kei's men in the torture and destruction of Nus Kei's house. In fact, the number of perpetrators involved reached 47 people.

Deputy Director of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrium) Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Jean Calvijn Simanjuntak said the number could have increased in line with the suspect's statement. So far, eight people are still declared fugitives.

"We have arrested 39 suspects and at least eight more DPOs whose teams in the field are still pursuing them," said Calvjin in Jakarta, Monday, June 29.

Of the dozens of suspects who have been arrested, continued Calvjin, two of them were not related to the damage and torture. They were arrested for illegal possession of firearms.

"After development, we have secured 39 of them, but these 2 (cases) are different," said Calvjin.
